This content (the “Content”) is fully protected under the copyright laws. The right of Robert Reed to be identified as the author of this work has been asserted by him in accordance with the United Kingdom’s Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. The moral rights of the author have been asserted. Unless stated otherwise, all rights to the Content are strictly reserved, including, without limitation, stage performance and public reading rights, television, radio, motion picture, video and sound recording rights, broadcasting rights, reproduction and distribution rights and rights of translation into non-English languages.
This script copy is provided for the
individual/organization (the “Buyer”) for the purpose of preparing a performance by the individual (“the Performer”) made to paying or non-paying audiences of class-members, teachers, parents and public (the “Performance”). Public reading is also taken as a performance. The Content may be performed by the Performer in whole or in part for up two years from the purchase of the script. The performance rights are not transferable. Permission and licences must be obtained from the author to perform the Content after two years from the purchase of the script regardless of whether an admission charge is made or not.
The name of the author and the full Content title must be displayed on all forms of advertising, promotional and informational materials concerning the Performance.
Within the herein contained copyright restrictions, the Performer is allowed to make own minor additions and alterations to the script for the purpose of the Performance as needed, but the Performer is required to give credit to Robert Reed as the sole and exclusive author of the Content. The right of the Performer to make minor changes does not constitute the right to adapt the Content or create derivative works based on the Content, in whole or in part.
The Buyer is permitted to make up to - copies of this Content, solely for use by the Performer. Any copyright or other notices contained in or associated with the Content must be preserved on all copies. This Content copy is supplied for the Buyer alone. Apart from any use by the Buyer permitted under the conditions above, no part of this Content may be stored in an electronic retrieval system, recreated, copied, re-sold, lent, hired out or otherwise transferred or circulated in printed, electronic or other form, or by any means without the prior written consent of the author.
One and only one (video or audio) recording of any of the Content performance or reading (the “Recording”) can be made. The Recording must give credit to Robert Reed as the sole and exclusive scriptwriter of the Content and the name Robert Reed and the Content title must be notably included in the Recording. No part of the Recording may be stored in an electronic retrieval system, copied, sold, lent, hired out or otherwise transferred or circulated in electronic or other form, or by any
means without the prior written consent of the author. Permission must be
obtained from the author to load the Recording to the Internet.
The Content may suggest music to perform. Music performance rights are not included in this script copy and it is the Buyer’s sole responsibility to obtain licences necessary to perform any suggested music.
The Content may include references to public figures and brand names and trademarks owned by third parties. Such references are provided for comment, parody or other permitted purpose only.
All the work contained in this Content is copyrighted by the author. This Content copy doesn’t allow any person to represent the work contained within as his/her own. Any person who does any unauthorized act in relation to this work or allows others to do so may be liable to criminal prosecution and civil claims for damages.
